Multi-disciplinary designer, photographer, and creative director with 15+ years experience leading creative on & offline within the luxury, beauty, technology and lifestyle industries.

Dustin has created rotting environments, developed graphic identites, hacked 3-d scanners, shot fashion campaigns, directed short films, printed his body in gelatin and designed interiors and products. In 2003 he formed DEA/STUDIO as a creative platform for projects within the fashion, beauty and technology space.

His work has been featured globally in publications from Time to I.D. and in institutions and festivals ranging from D+D Design Directory to Art Basel. Dustin has collected over forty international awards and has been named one of fifty winners of the ADC Young Guns 5 award, honoring the world’s next generation of creative talent in visual media and design. In 2008, he received the Young Alumni Innovator award from Art Center College of Design for his unorthodox approach to image-making and brand building and later that same year was selected as one of Print Magazine’s Top New Visual Artists. In 2010 he was selected by Computer Arts UK as “The 10 best designers you don’t know about(yet)”.

He is passionate about cross-pollinating disciplines and genres for a singluar artistic approach. He is one half of the art duo Cope/Arnold (with Nicholas Alan Cope) where they combine the mediums of painting, chemistry, sculpture, fashion and installation as a part of their creative output.

He holds a degree in design & media arts from Art Center College of Design.

Chief Creative Director responsible for leading the overall creative vision, brand strategy and product direction for DITA Group across all channels. Grew the brand group 20% (€15 million) during my tenure.

DITA Group is a multi-brand luxury eyewear group consisting of: DITA Eyewear, DITA-Lancier, DITA-Epiluxury, Thom Browne Eyewear, Christian Roth Eyewear, and Alexander Wang Eyewear (forthcoming 2020).

Brought in to build the creative department. Re-packaged and Re-positioned the core DITA brand. Introduced a new architectural concept and launched 6 new flagship stores globally.

Created a brand and sales training process for B2B and B2C employees. Launched DITA-Editions, a bi-annual magazine for the brand whose content fed both e-tailers and retailers. Launched DITAworld, a social platform focusing on brand alignment of talent on the vanguard of design, craft and culture. Highlights include: Detroit Techno legend Carl Craig, world champion fencer Miles Chamley-Watson and Comme des Garcons perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour.

Created and launched two additional DITA Group brands: DITA-Epiluxury and DITA-Lancier, as well as fashion eyewear license Christian Roth. This consisted of a 360˚ brand concept from packaging, digital, merchandising, collateral, film and advertising.

Apple. Brought on for a 6 month retainer to launch the iPhone 5 & iPad Mini. Focusing on the creative platform: Simple, Human, Cool the campaign included TV, OOH and Global Print.

Volkswagen. Helped win the VW business for Deutsch as a consultant and was brought on full-time after a 6 month retainer. VW USA was thought of as a brand for college kids that the American consumer loved, but didn’t buy. Our mission was to bring VW from personality to purpose. Key projects included 360˚ launch campaigns of the newly re-designed VW Beetle and the re-designed Jetta
