Dustin Edward Arnold

Multi-disciplinary designer, photographer and creative director with 15+ years experience leading creative on & offline within the luxury, beauty, technology and lifestyle industries.

Dustin has created rotting environments, developed graphic identites, hacked 3-d scanners, shot fashion campaigns, directed short films, printed his body in gelatin and designed interiors and products. In 2003 he formed DEA/STUDIO as a creative platform for projects within the fashion, beauty and technology space.

His work has been featured globally in publications from Time to I.D. and in institutions and festivals ranging from D+D Design Directory to Art Basel. Dustin has collected over forty international awards and has been named one of fifty winners of the ADC Young Guns 5 award, honoring the world’s next generation of creative talent in visual media and design. In 2008, he received the Young Alumni Innovator award from Art Center College of Design for his unorthodox approach to image-making and brand building and later that same year was selected as one of Print Magazine’s Top New Visual Artists. In 2010 he was selected by Computer Arts UK as “The 10 best designers you don’t know about(yet)”.

He is passionate about cross-pollinating disciplines and genres for a singluar artistic approach. He is one half of the art duo Cope/Arnold (with Nicholas Alan Cope) where they combine the mediums of painting, chemistry, sculpture, fashion and installation as a part of their creative output.

He holds a degree in design & media arts from Art Center College of Design.
